Women, a gift by GOD to mankind. Why did GOD create women … ?

GOD has the power to give life to someone and take it away, as well. GOD gave woman one power out of the two, one lies with women to give life/birth to a new living being, so precisely women have a divine part in them.
Respecting women is an utmost priority for all humans , men and women both. Most important if one wants to change anything in the world , it needs to start from your own family. We have mothers/sisters/wives in our homes, and we should always be respectful and caring towards them and should often go the extra mile to make sure they are mentally/emotionally supported. And this should be apart from any care we need to take physically, they should feel comfortable, secure and safe within confines of their home and then the outside world.
Women’s day is an important day to celebrate women’s social, economic, cultural & political achievements. But why not build an environment around ourselves where we don’t need to especially celebrate women and enforce virtues and values just for a day but bring those into daily routine. On women’s day most of us talk about power of women and how strong they are. Yes they are, but if 365 days we practice that and bring it into everyday habits, the world would be a better place for all.

Talking about the adults, in our society as of now, we need to understand that a basic respect from another human is a birth right for any person , especially women. The way we treat women in our society currently is extremely unacceptable , barring a very minimal percentage of women who are able to stand up for themselves and fight for how they deserve to live and co-exist. As humans we age and ideally we should evolve with time but unfortunately the opposite happens and we do not address the deeply ingrained patriarchy within us. Instead of trying to get rid of it , we justify the insensible thinking, most of us have. We, as a generation, have been brought up in an era that has seen many developments , the good and the bad. As of now, in any part of the world women are expected to be a certain way and adhere to norms of the society, but that shouldn’t be the case. Women are a divine creation of GOD, and exist to help us experience the experience called LIFE.
The first women in anybody’s life that they have an interaction is with their mothers in the growing years and they the most impactful years of one’s childhood. It is the responsibility of the parents to raise their kids, both girls and boys, in a way that they understand respecting women is most important both for boys, as well as girls. Boys need to be raised with utmost care as from the initial years if they understand women are equally competent of doing anything a man can do, they will grow up with the thinking men and women are equal.
Education for all is very important but for women it is much more valuable as they grow up and become independent, which is the most important thing for any women in today’s day and age, to be financially independent, enough to take care of themselves and their parents. In some parts of the globe women still do not have very basic rights of existing like voting, going out in public independently or driving etc, which is appalling. Education for both men and women is important, for women so that they become independent and for men so that they have basic wisdom to go ahead and not become chauvinistic in their approach towards life. Education helps a lot in defining how an individual grows up and becomes a sensible person to deal with the existing society. Young people have a big role to play in ensuring that every girl and every woman has access to quality education, that their fundamental human rights are respected, and in ending all forms of violence against them.

Gender parity is a major issue that needs to be handled. Since the growing up years till their last breath women are told or instructed to be limited or not open up too much , basically not be themselves. Every individual is different , and that applies to men and women both. A girl child in some parts of the globe is asked to focus on learning household stuff alongside their studies while boys are asked to focus on their extracurricular activities, apart from their studies. In short, Girls are not given enough motivation compared to boys. When kids grow up , boys are not asked to behave a certain way but girls are and not once but every day from their clothes to their interactions with the outside world.
Coming to workplace , sometimes sexism is so inbuilt in our minds and upbringing that we unintentionally say or do something without realizing it is not required or unwanted. We work in a collaborative environment, and men , women both should have equal right on every part of the work/office/facility/opportunities etc but sadly that’s not the case. Women do face a lot of difficulties at work as well, but they are strong enough to handle that but as men and people in general we need to be careful of being aware of any injustice happening and act on it to see if one can help avoid that.
Finally , a request to all men, and everyone in general to treat women with equality and respect , be it anywhere, home, workplace , school , college, gym, in public etc.
Request to all women, if there is someone who is not helping you to be yourself , stay away from those people, be it family , friends, colleagues or anybody else. Always put yourself before anyone else, take care of yourself, your emotional self, your physical and mental state, then take care of others. Do not let anybody treat you with disrespect , give it back to them or speak up at least. Especially any domestic violence that may be happening to you or around you or with someone you know, do yourself a favor and speak up to address the issue. Reach out, as there are a lot of good people still that will come forward to assist and help you.
Finally, a big salute to all women fighting and standing up for themselves and other women.
Let’s celebrate the spirit of womanhood not just on the coming Women’s day but from there on everyday for the rest of our lives.
Wishing all women in the world a very Happy women’s week starting today.
